Stephen C. Bohn, Architect, Inc. provides creative architectural services for residential and commercial projects, specializing in custom homes and high-end remodeling. Over 450 projects have been built since 1988.
The firm’s strength lies in the ability to establish positive working relationships with clients and interior designers, builders and related professionals. While specializing in residential addition and custom homes, SCB, Inc. also has extensive experience with CDBG (government grant) projects, modular construction, insurance repair work and tenant improvements.
Recent projects includes Nourish restaurant in Tempe, AZ., domestic crisis center, fire station and medical clinic, updated athletic field facilities in Nogales, AZ, historical residential additions and 2 custom homes. On-site observation service is provided during the construction phase.
PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
SCB, Inc. provides a hands-on team approach to the project from beginning of the design the completion of the construction.
Our appreciation, respect and understanding of building materials, the Client and the Southwest desert environment aids in achieving a structure that compliments the environment and avoids the “rubber stamp” affect of mass-produced structures. Respect and understanding of traditional and new building materials, passive solar techniques, the Southwest desert environment, and most importantly, the Client is the main priority.
Whether the project is a small addition or large custom home, SCB, Inc. strives to develop unique, attractive and functional structures with comfortable and flowing spaces that capitalize on the site’s views, orientation, native land forms and vegetation.
